just fantastic .. love the painterly feel of this, and if you were trying for something that has an emotional element, then you've totally succeeded for me with this image .. it brings to mind also, Lot's wife being turned into a pillar of salt for some reason .. this image would evoke different responses in different ppl, which i reckon is an excellent thing in a piece of art .. fantastic colours :)

I perceive a bearded figure with light clothing and a head covering looking out a small window in a thick wall. The blur and yellow-brown tones make me think of old paintings of persecuted religious men in biblical times. I like the somber mood.
