sadly I didn't vote in this challenge but it was the clear winner. Would have given it a 10. Really like the colors and processing. That soft dreamy blur and the shadow under the book makes it an outstanding picture.

This is a cute shot, although I'm not sure I agree with the sentiment. In most western countries the role of the 'traditional family' is front and centre of many of the major political parties. However I get what you're saying, perhaps that fathers are often overlooked in that key parent role. and as it's a nice, technically competent shot I'm going to bump up my score a bit.
