Leilana-Portrait-on-Black.jpgby MinsoPhotoComment by mpeters: Just a thought... Had you moved your camera left light to the left and more behind the girl, i think it would have set off her hair nicely. Your flash power looks perfect. Then move the RH light so it directs more lighting into her face(on the axis of her nose for example). I think this may give you more drama. |

Thoughtlessby MinsoPhotoComment by Gatorguy: Greetings from the Critique Club...
I'm probably not the best one to critique this image because I am one of the apparent minority that really likes this shot. In fact, when I first opened it up I though I was going to be critiquing one of the top shots, but was quite shocked when I scrolled down and saw how it did!
To me, this meets the challenge perfectly. I don't get how people missed the parallel lines in this image??? I like the slight angle to it, and the composition of where the people are placed in the image. I actually think it would have been a good entry in the fine art challenge.
Really my only negative is the hot spot in the foreground.
If I had voted in this challege I would have given this an 8 or maybe a 9 depending on my mood at the time.
Keep experimenting. Message edited by author 2010-03-10 14:28:23. |
