Camera: Canon EOS-1000D Rebel XS
Lens: Canon EF 28-135mm F/3.5-5.6 IS USM
Location: Old City Cemetery
Date: Mar 6, 2010
Aperture: 8

Date Uploaded: Mar 7, 2010

Heavy crop of a weeping willow tree that I shot with a zoom blur. I wanted a painted feel so I used topaz adjust, color correction, levels, and hue/sat a few of the colors. Add border, resize and sfw, it was actually all basic editing rules.

I suppose Pollock and willow trees have similar roots.

4 - Don't mind the concept but I find the composition is unstructured (could be intentional) and the colors harsh and clashy. The white inner border detracts, in my opinion.

I like the lens baby effect... The colors and border look good too. This photo gives me the effect of being driven into a Jackson Pollock piece at 150MPH... I like it, makes me think..> Well done!

looks like radial zoom used here, I like the effect but not sure if it is legal

Much too busy for me to appreciate photographically, much too recognizable for me to acknowledge its abstraction. Not in the category "fine art" in my opinion.
