The Hardware Storeby PaulComment by bvy: Wish it were entirely in black and white. The pink background is too strong. Great idea anyway. |

Max 1by PaulComment by bassbone: Lovely - I quite like this image as well....The processing to B/W is perfection and the lighting really show the simple shapes and textures throughout |

Max 1by PaulComment by Nusbaum: Excellent portrait. I love the depth of field and how it bring focus to his eye and eye lashes. The lighting provides wonderful tonality and depth. I like the hat... adds a lot of character and keeps this from being just another portrait. |

Max 1by PaulComment by stupidcat: very nice photo. It looks to me as though there is a small blown out spot on the back of his neck. Could just be my screen... |

Max 1by PaulComment by Jutilda: Interesting DOF and profile. Not quite 3/4. I rather like it. |

Alta Egoby PaulComment by rmezzo: First impression:
Looks like the soul of Jimi Hendrix is coming out of him. Very cool.
Suggested improvement:
Since your choice of edit has made his hair blend in with the background, I think you could have cropped a little off the top. This would put the mans eyes in thirds instead of centered as they are now. |

Max 1by PaulComment by photokariangel: he does look younger than his nine years. But i love this portrait, alot of mood and emotion behind it. and its fantastic in black and white. |
