This won't be everyone's cup of tea, but this is probably my favourite photo I have shot so far this year. I imagine the missing head will come in for some flak - personally I think it is key to the success of the image.

This is so good. An intense narrative, action with foreboding, detail with incompleteness.

I personally love this too. The emotion of freedom comes to mind viewing this image. Great as usual.

Another exceptional image! It includes an instant meaning of inspiration for me. Now I will have to plan a shot in this style with my son. Bravo!

And fast..
Beautiful image. At first and without reading the title, it made me think of a child and of the joy of running. So I found the contrast a bit disconcerting. Dark, harsh and less luminous than I would have liked. But then I finally realized the mood of the image, and it certainly works well.

Love this shot- such great feeling and natural vignetting- the sky and motion inspired a thought of emotion and I'm not sure why- its just really good.

I'm coming back to this via your story in the proposal thread, which caused me to check out your ribbons to see who your wife was (babe!) and thus caused me to see this headless romper, and to notice I'd given you a 10 and failed to comment, which I usually do when I give 10's, so better late than never as I tell you how much I loved this unadulterated blast intense movement and all its metaphorical baggage :-)

I must not have voted this FS (I don't see my red bar). This is phenominal! Nice sense of from where/to where with the "where" being immaterial, only the going and coming being of consequence. Great work with the tones and vignetting to create and contain the world here, too.

One of these days I will learn how to do a shot like this, where something that would normally be slammed as a flaw actually adds to magic of the image. I gave this a 9.

I like the comp, processing is a bit overdone for me. Still very good.

I love that you cut off his head, I think that is was separates this shot from a simple snapshot. Great perspective as well.

ooo very moody and sinister, the grain adds a great deal to this shot
