Nice candid shot. Looks like you really pushed the photoshop to bring out the lowlight of his face (this is evident both in how flat he looks and also the halo around him. Did you not try using an external flash to make him pop out a little more?

Awesome. Just Awesome. Composition, lighting. The only nitpick I have is the slight blur of the model, but even that adds to the surreal quality of this image.

Ooh, so good! Hope to see this finish well.
My only critique would be this: the sky looks a little dark compared to the snow. Oh, and the gradient from light through the trees on the left seems to happen doesn't really match that of the sky.
