First I had the title the longest I have done so far:
"when the pre-wired man’s blindness badly infects the future of the children of men"
but after rethinking it I shortened it.
I also took out a loooong, deep explanation that I wrote here, I thought afterwards it would probably make people here roll their eyes and think I'm crazy or something... :-P

----

I made this wire-man for a school assignment and this image for another school assignment where the theme was "still life". I wanted to try to do something emotional with this theme and this is what I came up with. I didn't make the wire sculpture as a "bad man", it's just somewhat in that role in this image.
I put a fly-net frame on four milk containers, put the wire man on the middle of it and the doll at the back on the frame, I used a black background and the room was totally dark while shooting. I used a small white led-light pen to paint the light on the subjects, both from under the fly-net and from above. I used a big aperture (f/5.6) to get the doll blurred.

I'm not expecting it will score very high here but ofcourse I hope it will not be very low. It's not the image I would choose from the images I took in this month to try to get the highest score (as I do more often ofcourse). I don't do still life images often and this was maybe good image for the school assignment but I'm interested to see how people here on dpc like this kind of images just as an image in a free study challenge and not in a specific theme challenge.

Excellent work. The best in the challenge in lots of ways

On this one I'm not reading your notes - it already means stuff to me, that's enough. I wonder if it's the same as it means to you. Hmmmm -

Thanks for your DK blue and your comments..:-) I cannot say what it means for you but for me it's pretty deep and the meaning is dark. Maybe you can see something in the long title that I was going to use first? With this image I'm expressing questions because sometimes I can't understand where all the evilness in some people really comes from, is it in the genes or how people are "molded" while growing up, is this bad behaviour, in that way, a "pre-wired" part in some people? I had written a very, very long explanation but when I entered it in the challenge... hmmm don't really know if it fits here..

I won't pretend to understand it, but it's well done.

I get such a kick out of that OOF doll in the background waving good-bye.

cool in a major way - I'm not voting, but I thought you should know, this transcends the mob mentality of this place. I hope it's being well received, but I'm willing to bet differently.

This makes one stop, and think. I love that. This is great work, thank you for making DPC a more diverse place. We SO need more of this!

Eclectic and unusual and for those very reasons alone this is appealing to me. Very good technical work as well. Nicely done!

I'm not entirely sure why, but I find this quite fascinating.

I really like this. But I would prefer it to be entirely dark. I understand the Barbie but the glibness and sarcasm she brings is subtracting from the weight and gravity of the other figure. And I think the other figure has enough gravity to stand on his own. 8 from me.
