IMG_3913 edit copy.jpgby ZippyComment: I don't think the net is that big of a deal in this. Getting a shot of somebody setting without a net and still having their face in the photo is rather unlikely, IMO. Great timing, combining not only the moment of contact with the ball and a great expression of concentration. |

Sports Day 1by KatmystiryComment: I agree with increasing aperture to decrease the presence of background subject matter, and also maybe a slightly lower perspective. |

IMG_1921.JPGby LadyKComment: I think the anticipation is good in this like bobonacus said, but they seem to be off in the middle of nowhere, without the puck for a reference point or anything, or like karmat said, change the framing in order to guide the viewer towards what is happening. |

IMG_1966.JPGby LadyKComment: Timing wise, this is good for what was happening, but I think that there are other moments within a game of hockey that make for better photo opportunities- checks, fast breaks, and shots of the goalie making saves are examples that better capture the action. Here, it seems like everybody is just standing still. |

Jumpby hajekaComment: I think that if you didn't have to crop so heavily initially, it may work well to crop closely on the players to emphasize how busy the scene is, or at the least to crop out the cut off toe on the right side. |

Moonlilght Sonataby brownsmComment: The cloud movement gives a surreal sense of movement that draws the viewer in. Perhaps a bit underexposed for my likes. |

Blue of the Nightby ScapeshotsComment: This is by far my favorite cityscape of the challenge. The blue tint is nice but not overwhelming. I like how the buildings completely fill the horizon. |

Blueberryby AlainComment: I rather like this. The textures are great, and it isn't the crazy technicolor blue of a lot of other entries. Shame that closest bit is out of focus. |

Blue autumnby GedasComment: I find this to be a very soothing photo. The various colors work well together, especially with the blurred grass stems. |
