I don't think the net is that big of a deal in this. Getting a shot of somebody setting without a net and still having their face in the photo is rather unlikely, IMO. Great timing, combining not only the moment of contact with the ball and a great expression of concentration. |

It's almost a portrait! Think is hard to get faces in this sport without a net. (I agree with the other comments on the yellow). |

Nice composition and good detail on your subject, I also like the blurred background. |

I have to agree with the others.....although I'm not a fan of shooting through the net, it competes with my attention to the real subjects the ball and player. Yellow cast esy to fix by picking a white point in curves, or playing with color balance. |

Great focus and excellent dof to isolate the player. I like the fact her eyes are really nice and clear and they lead you to the ball.
You could play with colour balance to drop the yellow a little, you could also shoot in RAW so you can then adjust the white balance afterwards. Personally I'd have been tempted to run a weak(ish) noise ninja (or equiv) pass to remove some noise without making her face to soft. |

I really like this except for the yellow. Try setting your WB to the florescent setting on your camera, I did and it made a huge difference! |

Nice shot. It looks very yellow to me however. |
