Spencer assignment 2by debitiptonComment: Excellent. Great dynamic composition, and you clearly know what you want and went about to get it. I agree that most of the compositional aspects I'd touch on would be fixed in post, as you say, so I'll leave those comments for after, if needed.
Just one little note. Focus *seems* to have grabbed the front of his hair, leaving the eyes a little soft. This isn't a compositional thing, but it's such a common thing to happen, that you want to be ever watchful for it. |

Forgotten Member of the Familyby lissylouComment: I don't think I've run across this breed of cat before. This is a wonderful pet portait. So relaxing and serene. I'd dodge up the eye on the viewer's right there a bit to get it more matching the other one, the murkiness of it gives for a little bit of a strange look, although that might be purposeful, or more accurate. I don't know. Removing the papers would have been nice too, leaving the lemons and brown tones for background. |

Lady Marmeladeby Dax-Comment: Everytime I come across your works, I'm floored by how smooth, colorful, creative, and unique a lot of it is. This sepia tone is no different. I wonder if you used a gradient to get this effect, or some natural lighting method.. or a combination. I really like your style, even if it does fall under the "digital art" category of my own personal cataloguing much of the time.. it in no way minimizes your talent. |

Curvyby pgattComment: I missed this one in voting.. but I like it. A little soft where it could be shaper, which is probably one of the things that hurt this in voting. (the other would have been the fact that there's not a lot of "white" here.) A nice, unique, creative take on the challenge, and for a photo period. |

Absolute Zeroby KonadorComment: I absolutely adore your abstact work. I'm not inclined to do photography of this sort myself.. but I certainly love looking at it. This one stood out the most as a thumbnail, and is absolutely striking as a large version. Like an ice cave.. brrr. |

Fireworks-1 07-04-05by SJCarterComment: This is gorgeous. Great colors.. reminds me of a starburst, or a shot of those little light-wires.. lol.. the name escapes me at the moment.
The smoke puffs are unfortunate. Wonder if you could clone those out somehow. |

Lunamosityby SJCarterComment: Beautiful. The blurred background really helps here, and the greens seem to be stronger than the close up. Nice shot. |
