Two of a Kindby sea2cComment: Lighting is a little harsh, and there seems to be a yellowish cast in the shadows that softens the contrast a little too much. IMO, the crop is just a little bit too tight as well. |

Yellow Helmetby rioloboComment: Good use of minimalism. You've gotten the kayaker to really stand out, and it's a very creative angle.. (On a bridge?). |

Hiding Hopperby wavelengthComment: Nice macro. A little strong on the colors and saturation for my tastes, especially in the background. Like the composition you've chosen though. |

Bonding.by docpjvComment: It seems to me like this photo needed some major cropping, as it is full of noise and artifacting. The moment itself is precious and tender, but I can guarantee it's suffering because of the technical nature. Time to put some money away for that long zoom. hehe. |

guard railsby ZenjohnComment: I personally don't like the strong oversaturation. and contrasty nature of this photo. |

In The Snowby sajinComment: I have to wonder what the background was like before levelling it out. There are chromatic abberations along the lines of the tiger, but the tiger itself is pretty cool. Looks sort of like he's coughing out some kind of "hairball", which I suppose was intentional? If not, still pretty funny.. |

Silent Hallsby tryals15Comment: I think I'd have waited for a slightly different time of day.. The harsh lighting where the man is sitting off-balances the photo and does more against it than for it, IMO. It's a nice study on lines and symmetry, but a softer more flattering light, (later in the day, sunset light, softer evening light.. something), would have worked much better. |

Catch The Waveby gliphixComment: A little overexposed in the forground surf, which pulls your eyes away from the surfers. Those, however, are nice, and I like the action. |
