The Walkby L1Comment: I love the moment. Still, like your entry in "Mirrors" I personally think it would have been stronger with a little more noise/grain to it. It's still got a very nice, classic feel, but it might be a little too personal for most voters :) |

Gasolineby GringoComment: very nice use of selective desaturation, but I find the shot a little too cluttered for my tastes, even with. I can imagine how cluttered it must feel without. The composition is strong, good centering, and a good eye to see something where most wouldn't. |

Split Bout....the inner struggleby graphicfunkComment: Not entirely sure how you accomplished this, but what a great concept! The lighting is a little harsh on the right hand side, and your shadows look a bit odd, but that's probably because of the nature of the photograph. Looking forward to seeing how it was done. |

Early Morning Seascape by jonpinkComment: Such fantastic and brilliant colors! The addition of the rock in the foreground really helps center the composition and the flow around it gives life. The run of the beach leads one up to the sunset, which is brilliant and well timed. Beautiful |

Golden Lightby JPRComment: The lighting you have here is extremely gorgeous. It really helps set this photograph apart from your common wildlife photo. The baby could easily have been hidden in the shadows, but it stands right out here. The mother's face is a touch dark to me, but otherwise it's a very strong photograph. |

Ethan, Dirty Face and Allby smellyfish1002Comment: His eyes! They just pull you right in. The contrast you've used in this shot is also very "retro" like.. it's almost as if I'm gazing at a boy of the 50's. Almost everything about this photograph is simply gorgeous. Only issues I have are the horizontal lines on the background, which distract a touch, and I think the head was cropped a little *too* close. |

Shadowboxerby scalvertComment: What a unique and hilarious idea! I can't wait to find out how you pulled it off.. I can see how the shadow image seems to be in front of the boxer.. was it cut out of some kind of material? Is it a double-exposure? However you did it, bloody brilliant. |

Peace Pleaseby SonifoComment: I *LOVE* this photograph, it's message, and it's feel. An instant classic, IMHO. |

Solitudeby p_johnsComment: Perhaps a closer crop would have helped a little. I don't like that I can see where the land around the hill levels out. (personal taste, I admit), and the silhouette of the figure would probably be stronger if it were larger. |
