A little soft on the camer and lens. The sepia works, but I think it's also a tad strong. A diffuser on your flash/lighting would have helped the glare from the lens as well.

Just a little too chaotic for me. Lighting and clarity are wonderful. The colors are strong and rich, but the angle and helter skelter composition keep this from being a really good photograph, in my eyes.

Interesting idea. This is the first shot of a library I've seen. Lighting is a bit harsh in the corner, maybe metering in a darker area would have helped? The composition is interesting, but not fantastic. Did you play around a lot with different views and angles? It can be fun to shoot from the floor in a library :)

I don't know where you found an old switchboard, but cool. The shot is a little flat in the lighting, but I like the crop and angle. (except maybe I would have cropped the top off more.. but I'm no expert). Come in Tokyo!

Religious themed photographs don't tend to do well on DPC, and I'm betting this shot is no exception, but feel free to let me know if I'm wrong. Now, *I* don't have a problem with it, but I *do* have a problem with the cross on the bible page. To me, it ruins the feel of the photograph, the light it is reflecting is harsh and distracting, and I don't think it really serves a purpose for the challenge (you filled that role with the bible). It might, to other people, also come across as the preachy straw that broke the camel's back. Nice lighting on the page, and good clarity and DOF. Get rid of the cross, and it would be a higher vote from me.

This is a beautifully captured still.. lighting is quite nice, and clarity is wonderful. Something about the composition, however, just leaves me wanting a little more.. although, the more I sit here looking at it.. the more it grows on me. I might have to come back to this one.

Just a little flat for me. No real point of interest. The headline ties you into the challenge, but it's certainly not a pretty photograph. I think, had you turned this into a B&W shot.. the gritty nature would have worked.. but in color, it's just too mundane.
