a study on orangeby primabarbaraComment: One of my top picks. Very abstract and interesting. The variety of orange tone really makes the image pop. |

Stacked and stripedby PaulComment: One of my top picks. The bold white stripes really stand out B&W toning. The composition is spot on with the subject building nicely framed by the other buildings. |

Spiritualby DCrest01Comment: Not sure how to vote on this one. "This is NOT a silhouette challenge, that's a different technique."
That said, it is a lovely image, really serene and well shot. |

ETA TBDby posthumousComment: I like what you are going for here. The sense of motion of the bird flight. That said I am not sure it really works for me. Kind of abstract and more about the motion blurred trees than the bird. |

rain's a-gonna fallby TiberiusComment: Great purples and reds in the sky. Gives a nice moody feeling. The birds are very small in the image and there are many other entries that fill the frame, that makes it tougher to compete. |

The Hummingbirds Are Back! by GolferDDSComment: Nice shot. Very sharp with good focus on the eye. Wing location can be tough with the ideal pose with the wings up and not across the body, but tough to get any shots with these fast little birds. |

Great Blue Heron by glad2badadComment: Solid Heron shot. Nice sharp eye and sharp throughout. Perhaps needs a bit more saturation as the tones throughout are rather muted. |

Fly-byby LevTComment: This effect is so cool. Not sure if this was intentional or the product of 100's of panning shots and then a happy accident. Either way, well done. The blue streaks are great as a background the bird is sharp in the sharp places. The black parts of the bird is perhaps a bit dark. |

In-Flight Snack by MaryOComment: Nice capture with the bird in flight with both wings visible and the eye looking great. Unique to see a fish in the mouth rather than the claws. Harsh lighting at that time of day is tough. Maybe also if you are photoshop/lightroom inclined select the sky and give it a touch more saturation to give the image some pop. |

"That would hardly be possible.."by PennyStreetComment: I like it. Nice little scene you captured here. The contrast between the people and the bird is cool. The dark edges on the right and left seem a bit out of place, not sure if there was odd lighting or if you added vignettes. |
