Tongues of fire at dawn by SistoComment: Finally! THANK YOU!
Something that's out of balance that really works!
Normally, the "proper" thing to do would be to have the point of the pier be at a "third".
Good on ya for not doing that... It's totally out of balance and still... WORKS!
Yay! Well done! |

Water's Edgeby GolferDDSComment: Do you see the vertical line of the tree?
To me it appears to be perfectly on the line of thirds.
The leading line of the land point balances the image perfectly.
So... I see a perfectly composed image. And I don't understand how this fits an "Out of Balance" challenge topic. |

Poppiesby elizadebComment: I hope you'll tell us in your comments how you see this as out of balance.
To me... you have beautiful leading lines to a subject perfectly lined up with the "rule of thirds".
I love the image... but don't think it meets the challenge topic. |

Landscape with a Skierby MargaretNetComment: Beautifully on "the thirds composition" in my view.
I love the shot... but don't think it's out of balance at all.
I love the colors and the DOF, though! |

My little doll by pgirish007Comment: I dislike this challenge topic. You did a fabulous job of it, but...
I'd much rather see this beauty in full focus. Dang it.
But, congratulations anyway! ha!
