Day 4 - Icicle

The bubbles and patterns inside the icicle are incredible. The background warms the ice without being overpowering. Great subject for a macro.

I was so inspired by this macro that I went out to see if I could use my bag of ice to get something interesting. I'll have to look at the photos when my hand thaws out.

Worth another trip to the Botanical Garden for the names and to get more macros. I like the colors here though I'd like more DOF. The cropping and processing are very nice indeed.

Day 4 - DECUS ET TUTAMEN

I am happy to see the triptych to show the whole inscription. The last one, Tutamen, is just slightly off in regard to the N. I really like these photos. Keep the macro view going strong. The lighting is a bit different in each one and I always wonder how to get a series of images to have good detail as well as the lighting be the same. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

This is really nice and sharp. I really like how the logo is very sharp and the fibers on the body of the hat are sharp as well it draws me to look everywhere for the details. I think the hat purchase couldn't have happened at a better time. Your brain might have frozen without the new hat.

Water-Dragon

I hope it isn't a fire breathing water dragon. Great textures on the dragon. The eye seems to follow me wherever I go. The green in the background makes the dragon stand out. Great shot Greg.
