This is nice from beyond the trees and the blue barrels on each end draw the viewer in and the open door is inviting.

Looks like wood chips make up the foreground. The large bricks look very orange here. No steeple or cross.

The people port or picnic area looks to be larger than the church. I like the angle of view and the foreground colors to warm up the image.

That is a beautiful old home. I like that you took the tree in the foreground and have it framing the house. Good family history lesson. I am curious why your great grandfather would marry his own daughter though. Maybe he married the daughter of someone else, like Captain G A Hendry, I don't know.
