Yes, sir!by stephanComment: I had initially scored this as seven, but after thinking about this particular shot for a couple of days, (it stuck in my mind; not much does that), I am raising it to a ten. Teh stark colors, high contrast, and vast negative space really make an impression, I think. There is nothing I can think of to tell you to do to improve. I think it is a very well executed and powerful photograph. karmat |

No use crying....by johnsonComment: The green cup really helps this picture to stand out. I don't know if it would have been possible without totally redoing your kitchen, but if a different color of table/cabinet top could have been used to contrast with the milk, I think it may have been more effective. karmat |

Train up a child in the way he should go...by SSonnentagComment: Did you try taking the photo from the front of the engine, jsut to give it a different perspective. Or arranging the elements differently, more "compact." The shot as it is, though well focused and lit, seems a little static to me, maybe because it is shot "straight on" and makes it look flat to me. karmat |

Need a hand?by KaveyComment: I like the composition and framing of this. I also like the bw. The only thing, in my opinion, that is weak about the pic, is that it is a little too bright on his hand. For some reason, this looks more like he is trying to grab you rather than help you. Maybe if it was palm up it would look less "threatening" to me. karmat |
