This shot isn't very interesting to me, sorry. It is a guy getting plants out of bucket of sorts, but other than that, there is nothing to tell me the context, or to captivate my eye and make me think it is a neat story that needs retelling. Perhaps if his face were visible, or we could see him actually planting the stuff, it would be more interesting.

I actually like colors in this very much, and the composition is strong. However, while it is obvious that the critter didn't "pose" for you (unless he is dead and stuffed, and you put him there), it doesn't feel much like a candid, either.

It meets the definition of candid, I suppose, but there is little that is interesting in this shot (unless you really like Lowe's and Subarus, of course ).

Obviously, not posed, but doesn't seem much like a "candid" to me, either. It took me a second to see the little critter. At first, I thought you meant the statue was your visitor, and I was wondering why you wanted it out of focus.

The shadow across his face is very distracting. Also, I think a tighter crop would make this feel less like a "snapshot," and more like a deliberate shot.

A tighter crop and a sharper focus would make this shot stand out more. And while I know that you couldn't move the pole, it is still very distracting.
