Most folks probably will not consider animal shots as candids, though this is a pretty interesting snap of the critter! I like the shadows on the wall, and the composition is well balanced.

Nice shot, lighting is a little harsh. Considering the time of day I probably couldn't have done better myself.

I actually like colors in this very much, and the composition is strong. However, while it is obvious that the critter didn't "pose" for you (unless he is dead and stuffed, and you put him there), it doesn't feel much like a candid, either.

Cracking shot (which will get hammered for not being candid as I did in one of the earlier Candid challenges). I love this.

another animal candid YAY!! how many DNMCs have you gotten today? :) i like the fence here a lot..the color and the composition. he's pretty cute too...I guess you could have posed him....not! 7

I struggle a bit with the idea of pets/animals as candids but no denying that you have captured a good image
