Boringby jmsetzlerComment: 12th is close enough for me... I'm looking for feedback moreso than scores. This week's feedback confirms my ideas that I need to make my photos more appealing to the subjective voter... |

Boringby jmsetzlerComment: Thanks for all the comments and your votes on this photo. This is an Okuma Vertical Drill. I only had one person comment that the drill may not be moving so I'm happy with that. The drill was rotating at 450 rpms and if you look, you can see that coolant is swirling and slinging from the drill. I never expected to finish this high because of all the 'subjective' whining in the forums.... Thanks! |

Fallingby janfriesComment: I like the artistic side of this photo. The out of focus drops in the foreground and background make this a difficult photo to read where stopped motion is concerned. It appears that your thin focal point is getting the drops in the center of this spray. There are not enough 'focused and sharp' drops here to really fire me up about stopped motion. |

Flyingby fsearlesComment: I like this spray as well. A little greater depth of field and making the subject level in this shot would be an improvement opportunity. it appears that everything behind the first row of water drops is out of focus. This makes it difficult to see that the water drops in front are actually in focus. |

Shattering Look At Light by D-ManComment: This is cool! Maybe I should have bought stock in GE before you started this project. Please message me and tell me how many light bulbs it took to get this shot! Excellent shot! My only complaing is that I think a more interesting crop could have been applied. There's a lot of emptiness in the lower half of this photo. The void in the bottom of this shot is the ONLY thing that is holding me back from a perfect 10. |

rvoby clayComment: This is a very nice photo... It does show good stopped flames. This isn't easy to do... I'm impressed... |

Who Stopped The Rainby nrouteComment: This is a nice macro view... The only improvement I could suggest is centering it up a little... Nice work! |

Caution Into the Windby greenem2Comment: This is a good example of the challenge topic. I also really like the texture you have captured on the fence pole and the fence itself. I don't believe I can comment on how you could improve this particular photograph. Maybe a more dramatic subject. I know this was a diffucult challenge. I had a hard time with my subject as well. |

Splashby d95vetteComment: Duuuuude.... bummr about your camera! :P This is a cool shot. The only thing difficult with this photo is the contrast between the spash and the background. The scenery is excellent. |
