Light Rail Stationby marcieComment: This is an interesting photograph but I'm having trouble relating it to the challenge. it looks like the buildings in the distance are the subject of the photograph. If that's the case, I understand the challenge attempt. If the overhead canopy is the subject of the photo, I am missing out on this altogether. if the light posts are the subject, I would have been sure to not clip them off at the bottom of the photograph. I am a firm believer that all good photographs should have a definite subject. You don't want to leave your viewer wondering what he/she/it is supposed to be focusing on. Keep up the good work! |

A Dog's Lifeby GordonComment: Nice photo! Very well done. I would like to comment a little on the light pole.. this is an interesting optics problem that is hard to solve... i had similar problems shooting a lighthouse a while back... These tall pieces like to bend in the photo... Good shot! |

Up Lightsby justineComment: I like this shot! This painfully reminds me of my "quittin time" clock shot from last week. My idea was to produce a photo that was as close to technical perfection as possible. This photo is nicely centered and I can see ZERO flaws. It also meets the challenge nicely! Nice job! |

Green line, 5 pm, outboundby KimblyComment: I really like the concept of this particular shot. I really love black and whites as well. There is only a minor issue here with focus and sharpness. |

Lone Doggieby ChrommonkyComment: Black dogs are hard to photograph, huh? i would rather see the nose not cropped out of this shot.... the background is a little busy as well... Nice shot though... |

sunsetby eyegoComment: i really do like nice sunset photos and there are some good ones in almost every challenge on this site... in this photo, i'm trying to determine where "from the ground up" is displayed. i see that your camera is close to the ground, but you are shooting just about level with the horizon. I could be missing the point here but i don't see it. |

spiralby tydComment: I think I like this shot. I like the geometry and contrast. I am wondering if this shot would be more powerful if it was more symmetrical and centered? Hmmm... interesting thought... good job! |
