Aracnophobiaby kristie380Comment: This is a cool looking spider :) I wonder if you could have cropped him out and made him a larger part of the image? The positioning of this little guy is almost too close to the center of the frame considering his size in the image. I would have tried to create a crop where he was positioned on one of the third line intersections for a little more impact :) = 8 - jmsetzler |

Feeding Time in the Reptile Houseby PatellaComment: The composition of this shot is excellent. I like the black and white as well. After I looked at this photo the first time, I didn't care for the grain, but as I look at it in more detail, I like it along with the motion blur of the mouse. It almost makes me feel like i'm the snake waiting to eat :) I bet this would look really neat with an IR filter or conversion as well :) great shot! = 9 - jmsetzler |

Don't look under the Bedby rll07Comment: under the bed at night is quite fearful for children :) I think this image would have been really neat if it was dark and there was a light coming from under the bed :) = 6 - jmsetzler |

Bear!by janfriesComment: This is a good shot.. I would like to comment on a few issues... first of all, The focus is a little soft. It looks like you may have been making this photo under poor lighting.. maybe its overcast outside. I also think the bear is a little too close to the bottom of the frame... maybe a little 'breathing' room at the bottom would be nice. = 6 - jmsetzler |

apocalypseby BeeGeeComment: perfect coloring for this photo... i'm curious if you used a filter for this.. i like the way the sun is so perfectly defined and yet the exposure is maintining proper values... good work! = 8 - jmsetzler |

Who's there...by fsieradzkiComment: Good shot! the large eyes, the sweat, and the shadows on the right side of the face makes this an excellent photo :) = 8 - jmsetzler |

Can't Sleepby JenguinComment: I'm not sure I understand this image. maybe a fear of insomnia based on the title? I am going to give lots of lattitude on this challenge because i am sure that I don't understand the fear in a lot of photos this week... I'm not particularly inspired by this image however. The diagonal on the left is a bit distracting for me... = 5 - jmsetzler |

Phobic?by indigo997Comment: nice shot! I think the detail here is excellent... I think the fear here is that the spider is afraid of your camera :) Good work! = 8 - jmsetzler |

Bump in the Nightby welcherComment: This is definitely a neat photo... things that go 'bump' in the night were a fear for me as a child. The only improvement that I may suggest for this photo would have been to have a light of some sort behind the door for some added effect... I think you did an excellent job of creating the lighting for this photo. good work! = 8 - jmsetzler |

Being Aloneby CowgirlComment: Loneliness is a tough fear :) In this photo, the first critique that I have to offer is that is a bit over ezposed. Secondly, Since your subject is on the left side of the frame and looking to the left, there is a lot of dead space in the right half of the image. If your subject was facing towards the left or if she was positioned on the right side of the frame, the photo would be more appealing to me. If this doesn't make sense, send me a note and I'll try to explain it in a little more detail :) = 6 - jmsetzler |
