2nd/3rd century ADby stephanComment: Congratulations on a phenomenal photo... I love the composition AND the lighting here... the darkenss adds a great sense of 'old' and 'foreboding' to my interpretation of this image.... These old statues are beautiful. I wish I had the opportunity to make photos like this in America. Our doesn't even date back this far :) Great shot... = 10 - jmsetzler |

Beyond Repairby FranziskaLangComment: Interesting photo of something 'old'... The subject may be old, but the photo lacks visual impact for me... there is no 'wow' factor... - jmsetzler |

EncRustby willsy66Comment: Whatever this is... it's certainly old. The strip of clear focus across the center of the photo doesn't work very well. This shot needs either more depth of field or a different camera angle. The image lacks punch... - jmsetzler |

Weatheredby sohrComment: This is one of my favorite photos this week... the mood of this is completely 'old' and you have done a great job of capturing the challenge... The color toning you chose accents the age of this scene very nicely as well. I'm giving this photo a 10, but I still have a personal preference critique... I wonder if it would have been possible to shoot this from another angle... Possible the exact same angle viewing from the right side rather than this side... I think that being able to see the front of the carriage would be a nice enhancement.... good shot :) - jmsetzler |

Den Motherby PeltzComment: Interesting shot from the zoo :) I wonder if this particular photo could have been taken from a lower angle instead of looking down on the animals... just a thought :) It's like when I photograph children... I like to try to get down on their level rather than trying to point the camera down... :) - jmsetzler |

Old Man of the Forestby bobgaitherComment: wow.. this thing is massive... I would be curious to know how old this tree is.. do you know? These things are amazing. I would love to see them sometime... I think you made a great choice of including the people in the frame on the right... they give great perspective to the size of this tree.... good work :) - jmsetzler |

KEEPER OF DREAMSby karolComment: interesting effect with the water :) I would have tried to crop out the red line along the bottom of this photo... I think that a little bit of light diffusion between your flash and the subject could be an improvement also. when the flash is going to 'heat' up your image, you can do a few things to dampen it... one that works for me is to tape a piece of kleenex across the flash.. this dampens the flash and gives you the light you need for a subject shot like this one :) - jmsetzler |

crumbling beautyby awmk1981Comment: this is an interesting piece of art... i wonder if a tighter crop would have allowed you to remove the top portion of this image? The colorless part at the top is the only part that looks out of place... - jmsetzler |
