I like the way you have used the flat grey to make the yellow pencil stand out in this photo. I also like the diagonals. this works very well :) Now, I see some evidence of 'barrell distortion" in this photo. This is the curvature that you can see at the top and bottom of this image. The only way to correct that in an image like this is to back up a little bit with the camera... shoot the photo and then crop out the part that you want to keep :) - jmsetzler

This is a technically very nice photo... I can't see much that I would change about the photo. I love the 'space' theme and you have done a very good job of capturing that sense in this image. I think that the eraser on your lower pencil is defective. I would definitely take that back and exchange it for a good one :) - jmsetzler

As you may know, I particularly like this concept... This image has lost some 'crispness' somewhere... the pixellation is farily dominant in this image. This could have possibly resulted from enlarging a cropped segement of the photo. The concept here is very strong but the clarity needs a little work probably :) You may want to take a look at resampling the photo if you need to enlarge rather than resizing... good shot :) - jmsetzler
