very unique concept :) The lighting on the red pepper may be a bid strong... the detail in that pepper isn't showing through as much as the other two... my camera has trouble with reds sometimes... = 7 - jmsetzler

This is a nice shot... I think a vertical orientation may have worked out a little better :) I'm scoring this one an 8, but i'm concerned abou the little spot in the upper right corner. This makes me wonder if the background has been edited out. The reflection under the glass from the glass stem makes me think that this surface is reflective. It also looks like the camera flash was used to light this shot... this would have lit up a lot more of this surface.... - jmsetzler

Good job with the composition on this photo... excellent placement of the apple. This photo is a bit challenging for me in several ways. The light on the apple is fairly harsh. This does, however, make it stand out in the image. The other issue I have is the large amount of contrasting areas between light and dark. It gives the image a 'busy' feel and keeps my eyes wandering around looking to see if I'm supposed to see soemthing else :) - jmsetzler
