This is an excellent compposition and I like the theme of the photo. There is a price to pay for our freedom and sometimes it is a high price. The desaturation on this particular image under the DPC rules, unfortunately, doesn't seem to work very well. The little bit of blue left in the sky seems slightly awkward, and there is some darker blue hanging around the edges of the tree in the upper right that look slightly odd also. I think this image is good and will work out very nicely as a 'finished' photo :) Excellent work... :)

Excellent shot... capturing the water drop here at just the right time was excellent :) There are only two elements of this photo that I think could use any possible improvement... I think it would be stronger if the background green was even and the dark area on the right was the same color as the rest of the background... It could be my monitor, but there also appear to be a few sharpening artifacts as well... I will have to look at this one again on my other monitor :) Excellent shot...

This is excellent work. I love nicely toned black and whites, so that's always a plus :) This is a strong photo for me for several reasons... first of all, it meets the challenge well. This is quite nostalgic since these types of 'greasy spoon' places are fading into the past these days. There aren't many like it around anymore. Secondly, you chose an interestin perspective and composition for this shot. You chose a non-literal view which creates nice 'geometries' in the photo and a nice strong diagonal as well. This looks like a place I would want to go for a burger and fries and a chocolate malt with a pretty girl on a friday night :)

Don't you wish you had done this shot for the 'repetition' challenge? :)
