If you used a fast shutter it would freeze motion, but would not show raw energy. If you used a very slow shutter it would be more of a soft billow, also not indicating raw energy. With a middle-speed shutter the motion and power can be seen. Unfortunately at first it looks like it's blurred, but the steady rocks show it's not.

This can't be trevytrev, unless it's a 5 year old picture, though it looks like his portrait. Nice shot. Decent lighting, except for shadows behind Trevor's head and arm, glare on forehead, and somewhat over-bright on other skin. Good composition and pose timing.

The lower picture is already tight and the frame cuts off the bottom. moving forward so the line would be above the steam would help.

Excellent altered mirror effect between the sides. Good costumes and expressions. This must have been at some event rather than going to all the trouble of putting this all together for this picture. Good shot.

Good exposure. I think a faster shutter speed would have helped. Maybe also better timing to prevent the nearby pole from getting in front of the structure.

Hmmm...I know I just read the photographer's comments on this one yesterday, like you were laying on your back and this lighthouse is only 20 feet tall. Anyway, nice picture. Good POV, coloring, detail, and the clouds that look like an aerial view of an ice flow or something.
