Snow? The lighting is dramatic, and the subject almost abstract. I find it interesting and magical, but the figures in the foreground and in front of the light are hard to identify. My eyes want to make the carolers, but my brain isn't convinced. I think some more context would be helpful, and a bit more light to pick out the ornaments in the tree.

Adorable! What a moment you've captured, familiar to us all, but perhaps not cherished enough. The glow of the beach light, the silver of the water catching these folks in almost silouette is perfect, Makes them less individuals and more archetypes - Woman, dog, baby, man - helps the viewer to put themselves in the place of your subjects. I wish all of the shadows were included at the bottom and not cropped. But lovely as it is. 8

Nice turkey, looks delicious, but the cropping and background seem very random, not thought out. Maybe to have the turkey on a nicely set table, or surrounded by all the fixings, or on a dark background with steam rising up.

Beautiful baby, nice soft focus, very appropriate. Wish there were a bit more light, a bit more contrast. Maybe crop in more - frame the face closer from the left, bottom and right. The blue background and the clothes, esp the cute little bear, don't add anything, and distract from that angelic face.

A Silent Stare

lovely serene and tense at the same time. great capture of a deer. The b/w blends the deer nicely into the environment, I like how she is surrounded by the light wisps of grass and her ears are against the blurr of distant trees. I might want to see it just a tad darker...9

wonderful capture of water - how many times did your poor subject have to dry off and change clothes? Or cold yo possibly have gotten this in one take? The guesture o the hands is such a natural one, it doesn't even look posed. And perfect against the black background. teeny bit sharper maybe? 9

Ok - I would be startled by a flock of seagulls busting into the air, I'm sure I wouldn;t have the presence of mind to get such a good photo. I love the layers of color mirrored by the layers of birds - few to many, sharp to soft focus. I'd crop a bit off the bottom. 9

Mysted stargazer

nice use of soft focus. colors and glow - a real atmosphere that begins to capture the intense aroma of the stargazer, wish the crop wasn;t in so close on the flower, i'd like to see more edges of petals.

Wish we couod see the source of the smoke. The smoke itself is a great capture - neon blue! Tis would look pretty cool and abstract cropped in from the right so all you have are th horizontal lines. Almost a landscape of smoke? Maybe too sparse tho'

Morning Coffee

These clouds od steam are wonderful! The blue light is remisicent of morning, everthing is fresh including the coffee. The glare on the glass is a bit distracting, I like the little flare of light on the pouring coffee. a favorite. 9
