I saw this after the challenge. All I can really add here is that the makeup on the right and left eye is a bit off... a little burning around her right eye would make the eyeliner look smudgy like the left one :) I LOVE this shot!!!!!!

Your focus is great. Did you use a Lucasarts Filter on this? It feels very metallic to me. This is, perhaps, what happened to the skin on the man in the photo? Your extraction of the people from the BG is phenomenal.

You have already heard what I was going to say, so I will just say that the softness is wonderful on that swan, really brings a dreamy feel to it.

I like the processing and agree with yanko about the shadow. I wouldn't have cropped so aggressively though, it now looks like her arm is coming from nowhere and not being able to see her fingers makes it hard to tell it is an arm. I read in your post that you were going for the highlighting of the tattoo. I believe you could have retained the highlight of that important area and still left in the rest. Perhaps even just the top of the arm (bicep) :) But again, it comes down to individual taste :)

I always wondered how they got that milk to show up so white :) I like the ad, it is a good edit for that shot.

You did a great job of lightening this without loosing details. I enjoyed especially trying to read the writing on the wall. Wait, isn't that a song lyric? LOL Hmmmm, oh well. I'll bet this guy was amazing! Being a flautist myself, I can't imagine moving around like that while playing :)

I quite like the increased contrast you pulled out here. I'm with wehrmacher as far as the crop goes simply because it takes out everything but the subject(s) and kinda makes me go hmmmmmmmm...? LOL :)

You have taken an ordinary image and really pulled something out of it. You did a wonderful job of bringing the child into the centre of the photograph and making all the other "stuff" seem obsolete.
