Day 10 - Southern Cross Windmillby xXxscarletxXxComment: Most of the windmills in this area of the world are "Aermotor" brand. The ones here all have 4 legs too, a curiosity to me, as the 3 legged tower would be more economical to build and easier to set up on site. This one looks a little ragged out for sure. I think that I have seen that tank somewhere before. If the power towers disappear this would be a delicious rural Au image. |

Twoby jdannelsComment: Very impressive minimal! I am struck with the smooth solid curve of the ground and the strong moving sky. The two trees are the right touch to complete the frame. Great B&W image! |

Day 9 Goolricksby agrimaceComment: That is a great story to go with a well captured image. The balance of ambient light and the neon sign is just right. I would like one of those shakes, but I would guess that hot chocolate is more popular right now up there. |

Day 9: But, soft! What light through yonder window breaks?by levyj413Comment: Nice "rectangulation" job. I believe that I would have wanted the most interesting area, the top section. The shadow and geometry there is very pleasing. It is good that you saw the light working on the house next door, and got the capture before the light changed. |

ehwall.jpgby daboardergirlComment: Neat! I like the dark area with one break in it, and the wood grain next to the blue paint. |

Barn Day 9by KatmystiryComment: Late day sun makes these images so warm looking. It is too bad that it is going to be gone soon. That happens a lot around here too. I read in the local paper today that they are going to be bulldozing 3 acres of oak canopied streets and oak forest in the middle of our town for a parking lot and business buildings soon. : ( I will be shooting some pics of that for sure, as one of the oldest small houses still remaining here is also there. |

Day 9by EBJonesComment: This is an interesting way to shoot the "my street" image, and it looks cool because it is so different from all the other images posted so far. |
