 This staircase is in my office building, and I walk down it from the 3rd floor to the 1st every night as I leave. I've taken several shots of it, one of which is one of my current high scores:


The light is yellower because it's all coming from the central chandelier, as opposed to a mix of chandelier and daylight coming through the windows.

I tried to edit this one to be darker and quieter. This is handheld, but I leaned up against the wall to try to steady myself.

The shadows cast from the railing are great. The light coming from the left is a little distracting. The other two you posted don't have that, but then they also don't have the cool shadows. :o) Overall fabulous shots!

What a grande old staircase! No getting fat and outa shape for you, is there! :) Doesn't this remind you of a Melethia photo? I love it. Any time I see those strong lines and angles, and something that might normally be considered ordinary turned into a very interesting photograph, I think of her. . .and come to think of it. . .you too :)

I'm not allowed to use the stairs where I work, which is probably for the best since pictures of them would frighten small children. You really capture some amazing arcs and spirals.

Classy 'case! This place deserves more than one image. I like 1 and 2 best. The shadows on the right in 1 make a difference in how it looks to me.
