People don't understand being owned by an african grey unless they have one. I hope that you always stay on the good side of Hildy. My Sammy was a sweetheart until the first time I trimmed his wing feathers. He has never forgiven me for that, and still will bite me hard sometimes. You didn't mention that Hildy probably imitates almost any sound she hears, like the phone, microwave ect. My Sammy made a fun game of the Nextel beep when he found that we would reach for our phones when he did it.
I very much like the dark background and shallow DOF in this shot, and yes, Sammy picks his feathers out too. He is upset now because I had to move him to a small cage to bring him in from this recent cold weather.

That is one of the most absolutely amazing parades on the planet. I have seen it on television long ago, but your photograph is a much sharper image. You had good positioning to be able to get this float so nicely, and all the settings were right.

Wow it looks cold there, and the sky cover gives the whole scene that darkening look as though it's about to snow again. I would not know that there is a road below the fence if not for the signs.

1 - Rocks and Downtown

It looks cold there. You have set up a nice shot with the skyline above the rock pile. The small rock near the center of the frame looks strangely like a frozen dog with his head down. Oops, I wasn't supposed to say that. Now you will be seeing the "dog" every time you see this shot. sorry ; P
It's a well thought out and composed image. It's clear and sharp too. Just overlook my warped sense of seeing and humor.

This whole scene is post card stuff. Did you set this up and sneak the ball in there later? No matter how you did it, this is an excellent photo of a beautiful day outside.
