Lombise New Yearby SnapperLComment: The exposure and composition is excellent in this shot. I can't believe that they only have one "firework" to launch. You were lucky to capture it. LOL. |

Town Deer Day 4by riversongComment: This is making me feel cold. I don't see how animals survive at all where it snows and gets so cold in the winter. They are just so much tougher than we humans are. That's a pretty scene with the mural behind the deer and all the snow and light framing it. |

day_4-2382.jpgby griz210Comment: Very nice. It looks like Wild Bill's ghost coming thru the wall. You used just the right exposure to capture this scene. |

day_4-2402.jpgby griz210Comment: I like these re-enactment things. Good framing and good choice of toning to make this look authentic. The real estate sign with the modern phone number is sort of a bummer, but nothing much could be done about it. Cool "shot" ! |

Our Family Room by pjangelComment: This is a nice cozy looking room. The fire and warm light make it even more inviting looking. That's a huge clock you have. It's hard to keep my eyes from going to it in the image. My highly honed observation skills tell me that you got this shot about 8:29 PM. LOL.
The mantle wall is beautiful with the built in, and full, wood box and shelves. |

Where I live 2by carofoComment: You seem to do very good at getting snow shots with the Sony. The 70-300 is doing an excellent job of dealing with the high contrast between the snow and the subjects on it. Do you use a polarizer?
I lived in Mi for a few months of one winter, but never tried this. I would likely get frost bitten toes and fingers. To me, it looks like more of a social thing with maybe a bit of antifreeze involved. : ) |

Where I live 3by carofoComment: It is great for the composition of this image that the sun strikes the snow only thru the one gap in the pair of trees. |
