Foreground? Check. Middle ground? Check. Background? Check. All the major components of a good landscape picture dealt with particularly well.I find great interest in all three portions of this picture. |

Another graphic design rule is to have items placed in a way that your eyes are moved around the piece and then back around again. In other words, form a cirle. You composed this perfectly to do so, my eyes first went to the slanted rock and the icicles and then up to the waves and they lead me horizontally up to the city and over to the tree ... and back down to the slanted rock again. Masterful. |

I just turned up my thermostat! This is a great view, so many things to look at without being distracting. |

Great photo. I used to fly in and out of Burke Lakefront so this brings back some memories. |

This is really beautiful. Love the city in the background away from nature. |

A postcard view of a lovely gray and windy day. Very well composed. I like your challenge take on it, too. |

Now that looks COLD! Great coomposition and POV with a lot for the eye to travel over and take in. The city in the distance sits in great juxtaposition to the natural beauty of the rocks and water in the fg.
nicely seen and captured!! |

I would love to live on the waterfront, but it needs to be warmer than that. Nice capture. |

It looks cold there. You have set up a nice shot with the skyline above the rock pile. The small rock near the center of the frame looks strangely like a frozen dog with his head down. Oops, I wasn't supposed to say that. Now you will be seeing the "dog" every time you see this shot. sorry ; P
It's a well thought out and composed image. It's clear and sharp too. Just overlook my warped sense of seeing and humor. |
