 Today we went to Rodeo park and it was a bust, other than Petey and Pickles having the satisfaction of dragging me through the snow! So, we went back to Riverview, and I'm glad we did. Tons of birds today. This goose seemed to be showing off for me, so I took quite a few shots of him. There were a lot of eagles, so it was like this guy was starving for attention. He swam right into the sun a couple of times and it made me kind of mad until I saw the results.

i love light and water as they mix! One of my fav things to shoot is the sun as it plays along the water and then to see how it ends up in the camera...this is pretty wtih the twinkles of light and the goose silhouette

No, I didn't use a filter, because like yesterday I wasn't planning on going down to the river. I did use my lens hood to help block most of the direct sunlight.

The starry highlights in the water are gorgeous! Always a plus to look at your shots on the monitor and discover they are better than you thought ;-)
