It looks cold already. I like the long view out to the distant mountains in this shot. That's a pretty raw and desolate looking place, but beautiful in it's own way. The cloud bank is high and cold looking.

This is where I would want to be if I was there during the winter too. You are fortunate to have such a place nearby and your composition makes it look quite appealing. I have a staghorn fern about the size of the ones in the background hanging in my yard. I hang a light bulb under it when it is going to be below 40F at night to keep it safe from frost.

Excellent color in this shot. It's difficult to get the range of light from the brightness of the moon to keep the color in the sky near the horizon. You did good. : )

With the explanation in the last part of your comment, it's a wonder you don't get lost on the firetrail LOL. Not to worry, Katee knows the way home.
The Katee shot is another of your fine shooting and processing gems. In composition, the bokeh and the big tree leading to Katee in sharp focus is good.

You are good a getting cool looking night images. The triangles in the shot work, and it is interesting that the shadow cast by a light from behind the subject walking makes another triangle with the shadow of her arms. The arch adds the opposite element of a curve. It's an image with interesting things going on.
