twitterby JutildaComment: It looks blob free to me. Maybe it's just my eyes. You managed to get this framed just right to emphasize the energy between the birds. |

Moon Over Philadelphiaby scooter97Comment: Nice skyline, and the blue sky looks good for this too. I think I would have taken most of the color out of the moon though. It looks almost the color of the moon in eclipse in this shot. |

blushingby JutildaComment: I almost expect to see a pixie flit out of the dark in this shot. That's a very attractive image. |

Self Portrait 1by moriadelacroixComment: It's a very nice SP. The single light source models your face nicely, and the black BG gives the image a sort of live performance stage look.
I thought it was a live performance shot before I opened the thumb. |

Hangin' by a Threadby GeorgeComment: For this subject, the flash does give it a lot of contrast, and highlights the details of the spider. The empty dark BG also helps to make it stand out with no distractions. I also see the faint lines of the web in the corner, which is just enough to give it some setting.
If you want to use flash on subjects that are very close to the camera and not have such a strong single point lighting, try cutting a styrofoam cup to cover your flash and diffuse the light. Even a piece of white paper works pretty good for that.
You have been on DPC a long time. It's good to see you getting involved more. |

To infinity and beyond...by LutchenkoComment: I can see why this got your attention. You did a nice job with composition too, the way the angles in the boom work with the diagonal, and then the border as well. Great sky for this shot. |

Queen for a dayby cogeroxComment: That's a very content looking goat. It looks almost as if you posed her for the shot. The fill flash was just the right level for this too. |
