Dusk Dreamsby KonadorComment: Beautiful, and very interesting because of your comment about the setting and the adventure in photographing it. |

Daybreakby Bear_MusicComment: This seems to be one of the simplest images that I have seen from you. I am not so comfortable with the centered upper third composition for some reason, but don't know exactly why. Love the colors and water though. |

Renewalby Ja-9Comment: I like this, but I like ferns anyway. The wide crop helps a lot with this by accenting the line of focused tips on the fern. I have a feeling that this was done with the Vivitar instead of the Nikkor. It just has that wonderful shallow DOF that's not attainable with f3.5, unless you were using the new ext tube to get in close with the 18-135. |

My Good Friendby photokariangelComment: This is one of the most creative "woodie" shots so far at DPC. On the lawn is the perfect setting for this, and it's great in B&W too. |

The Only Kind Of Houses Out Hereby photokariangelComment: I love old abandoned places like this. The toning, the comp with the mountains in the BG sort of repeating the rooflines work for this subject, giving it a look of a place photographed long ago. |

Complacent Bunnyby FraksterComment: DPC tutorial about preparing images for DP Challenges.
If you have Photoshop, maybe this will help. The max image size in pixels has changed to 800 pixels on the longest side since this tutorial was posted. If you don't have Photoshop, you can post a new thread, or research some of the older threads here about simpler ways to get the desired pixel count and file size. The file size thing confused me for a while, but someone here helped me learn how to set the file size.
This is a nice photo. Keep shooting and enjoy your time with your camera. |

Thirstyby bob350Comment: A Posthumous award for this would not surprise me. Very arty and classy shot. |
