Untitledby holyjoComment: This is a great idea! The resolution is very low in my opinion. It makes what I would call an inviting scheme into a very static image. |

Christmas Wishby PacloComment: Awesome work! A brilliant piece of art for this contest topic.
1 - On the edge of darkness to light.
2 - from restriction to inviting
3 - Pain to pleasure
I like the title and how it relates to the image in my mind, but I think quite differently.
I love this shot, but i think some might not see the connections it has to "Borders" because it's subtle. Perhaps too subtle for flash voters that fly on bye without taking time to think about the depth. I'm giving it a 9. If the gray-light area were a little more even, it would have pulled a 10 from me. |

River Reflectionsby Spanish_GreaseComment: This is a beautiful landscape. From the looks of this over-all, I think it's quite good in many ways. I hesitate to share my opinion on this simply because I'm sure it is as you want it to be, and it is good.
My preference would be to add just a little more contrast to help with the dark snow on the bottom, and to add a little more saturation to make the sky brilliant so it isn't just another sunset. I'm giving this a 7, which is a pretty good score. The overall shot just looks a little flat to me. I do love the composition.

Liquid Logicby jmsetzlerComment: This is so crisp and clean. The detail in the drops of water is phenomenal. My only negative comment on this, knowing it will show my ignorance. I do not know what it is! So, it lacks a little interest for me. I am still rating this quite high, I still think of and clearly see "water" as I view this. 9 |

Water Colors by jjbeguinComment: This is one of my favorite shots in this challenge. My only suggestion is the crop feels a little tight on the top, but I don't know if you are trying to hide something in the way. Beautiful work, beautiful color. 10 |

Water & Ice by oskarComment: This is just so serene. I love the frozen grass, it gives stability and dimension to the shot. Awesome effect. 10 |

Wahconah Fallsby rooComment: This is quite a beautiful scene. I am wondering why you didn't want to show this in color. |

Flowby TooCoolComment: This is simply spectacular. It is my favorite of the challenge. I love the red rocks.
When shooting water movement I find it critical to pick the right shutter speed for the ideal effect. You managed to hit it perfectly here. 10 |
