Roz, I think about the days where you used to wonder about how to do better here and since then, you've taken off like a rocket and have figured it all out. I hate bugs but this is an amazing piece. I love how it really is sitting there and posing for you. The light and clarity on the eyes is amazing, and this looks perfect in black and white. Congrats on an amazing finish in this challenge!

I love the glow from underneath! I think I would have liked to see a little less light on the left side of the shell (to draw back more attention to that beautiful glow). What an interesting shot!

I didn't think there was any desat, or at least not too much. I think it's a great photo. I think if you toned down the red you would find that THEN, you had a cold photo. The red adds life to the stone cold structure. I think it's a very interesting contrast you captured here. Beautiful shot of detail and symmetry - and yes, this seems a little different for you. Great job! :)
