non allegorical image #7 by BrennanOBComment: I really love this one - although i wish the apple were in focus. The apple and snake make me think of the Adam and Eve story. Like the man is behind the offering of temptation. Love the colortone. And the eyes are wicked cool too. |

purpleby bvyComment: I have to say that when I saw this in voting, I wondered if someone was doing a modern art tribute to pointandshoot with all the cat paw shots he does. That is what the stripe looked like to me - like a paw reaching in for the vine. Really cool idea for a black and white. |

Dogwoodby LydiaComment: Oh Lydia I thought this deserved a higher finish. Your black and white conversion is so beautiful. Of course I like seeing strong contrasts like this. Congrats on the 6+ score! |

waiting on a friendby FourPointXComment: ah, dog butt - so underappreciated! the black and white conversion makes it look like he's got his head poking into the trees lol. Cute dog! Keep taking pictures of him :) |

The rancher by Yo_SpiffComment: Man you are turning into quite the ribbon hog :D I liked seeing this one in the challenge. The thing I really liked was that the hat did not create a dark shadow over the eyes. Fantastic job. Congrats on the red! |

Waiting My Turn by njsabsComment: This is such a beautiful portrait and I thought it was a perfect example of how a black and white conversion really enhances the photo. Although I suspect the color version is also magnificent. Those big eyes look so amazing. Congrats on the blue! |

Agoraphobia by jagarComment: Fascinating. Even without the title you can see that there's an interesting story being told. Congrats on the blue! |
