 Spring is SO beautiful here! I love the dogwoods that bloom in the woods all around our house... before the leaves are out on all of the other trees.

Good stuff, dogwoods.

Am hoping for a 6+ on this. But, I did one almost like this about two years ago for a Flora challenge. Sadly, I don't think I've progressed any since then... *sigh*

But, life is GOOD, even when it's not. :)

You got your 6+ and change. And here you said you don't know a thing about B&W. This is very masterful! The detail is exquisite!

Oh Lydia I thought this deserved a higher finish. Your black and white conversion is so beautiful. Of course I like seeing strong contrasts like this. Congrats on the 6+ score!

That black is soooooo ...... what's the word for it? .... BLACK!!
And it perfectly shows off the delicateness of these gorgeous flowers. I can't wait for the dogwood to start blooming in my yard!!

Lovely detail and nice focal depth to avoid the annoying out of focus flower (the one guy doesn't count). Nice compositions as well. Nicely done.
