My personal taste is for defined lines in a pic. I am not a big fan of soft focus unless you can make out the details still. I hope you will post somewhere why you like this so much. I make that statement out of curiosity because a pic like this goes in the opposite direction of what I normally like to look at. A different perspective would be enlightening.

Oh is this in reference to the Oscar Wilde novel which I don't remember all that well now? (lol) Love the opposing perspectives (model vs. photograph). Similar shirt and ties - good balance! Selective desat - a good way to highlight the beauty of the aging photo. Awesome - love pictures with meaning!

Edit to add: I don't remember much about the story - did a little digging around to refresh my memory so what I am writing will probably not sound right, but it worked for me lol.

This is a fun pic! The color comes across well and almost blends in with the pic (as opposed to being too strong and out of place). I love that you have the color going down her neck. Great facial expression!
