thank you Don and Mary! thank you everyone commented and looked.
I thought it is such a wonderful moment, he was walking there on the streets of madrid, deep in his thoughts, and didn't know he had sunlight wings on his back!

Very nice shot - captures the atmosphere and emotion quite well!

This does have a Man Ray feel, and I'm wondering if you've been using a star filter lately to get the great sunburst effects? I didn't vote in this challenge, but would have given you a decent score. The one thing that bothers me is that it feels skewed - as in an unlevel horizon. Realize it may be intentional. I like that you are stepping out and trying new things - you have an eye no matter where you go.

What a lovely description, "wings on his back". Love the black and white. His location and the sunshine make a great composition.

Yes it does have that Man Ray feel. Nice shot, though I think not enough pop for this crowd. A little outside your norm though, which I like. Shows you can can take great photos no matter what. Cheers.

Again, posthumous can spot the beauty in the crowd field. Thank you for this wonderful artful photograph.

this looks like a solarized Man Ray. Posthumous Blue Ribbon for you. 10

Quiet? Sure. I'm having difficulty seeing the observation part, though.

Love the feel and light and composition to this - Just feel it's been let down by poor PP

The man really portrays the username here - I like it. I think it would have been better to hide the sun behind one of the buildings - its just causing too much mayhem.

The tones of this image are what speak the quite to me. I would guess that if it were in color I would not feel that it was so quiet.

this could have been a very nice shot (with a lot of atmosphere) if it wasn't for the two spots on the man's back - 7

I wait silently, watching and waiting for the right moment. The gentlemen passes by and arouses my curiousity. Who are you, where have you been, where are you going, are there loved ones waiting for you, or are you all alone? In less time than an eyeblink, I capture my memory of you and the light. After all, this is what it's all about.
