A pair of weathered wedding bands, not quite as new and gleaming as when they were exchanged, yet still they overlap on the soft cushion of rose petals.

I had a light above and to the left, and bounced the light from my flash back down from directly above. Since I was using my macro lens, I could not get the whole subject in sharp focus.

Photoshop: Curves, Crop, Sharp Sharpen, Resize.

This is a lovely shot and quite symbolic. Are those rose petals too? Nice touch. Too bad this did not score higher!

Nice concept here, especially with the bands on the rose petal. I think the only way you could get this in totally sharp focus and not blow out all the reflections from the bands would be to take it in a light tent. I also think it would be interesting to see it with the whole rose petal.

Nice idea and sentiment, but I'd prefer the background to be plainer, it's a bit distracting.

Looks slightly out of focus to me. Was this done hand held.

Wonderful idea but the image quality here isn't all that great. I would like to see this a bit sharper.

Using thoroughly used rings (not all shiny, new, and smooth) adds a lot to this shot.

not very sharp ... uneven lighting hurts this image
