The wood does do a nice job of framing! The color casts and the textures of the glass give it some kind of antique feeling. Have you done this in black and white yet?

What a cooool shot. I think it's a good shot for a candid. The clouds look great! The noise is the distraction in the photo, which is unfortunate because this is really cooool. Do you have Noise Ninja? I have something like it and can send you a link for it. You'd be surprised what a difference it will make.

It's hard to get into the comfort zone isn't it? Of just taking pics of everyone and anyone. I totally understand the "shot that got away" comment. Personally, I would have liked to see the fireman BUT what is cool about this is that you are getting to look at a fireman in a little different way. We don't normally think of BOOTS - we think FIRE HELMET. So this is cool. Nice reds too.
