Auberge de LETRAZby surfdabblerComment: David - I think you captured the wonderul low angle light very well here. The warm tones, the richness of the details all works well in the photo. In addition, the use of the roofline to mirror the mountain shows good compositional appeal. With all that, the shadows on the road really hurt the image. Also, the fact that the road looks a bit 'muddy' from a details perspective did not help the DPC crowd.
I gave it a 6 for the comp and lighting perspective - but the road and shadows issues brought it down from the 8-9 I wanted to give it. |

Lindaby cryanComment: Chris - This is outstanding. I cannot for the life of me figure out how this could not score above a 6. The warm lighting, the fantastic details, the relaxed and attractive pose.
It must be the brick wall that through people off - too bad most people have not seen studios where real photography is done where textured backgrounds and real walls are used very often. |

Psych Wardby bvyComment: the facial expression - the fact that this smile of the woman and the man in the ad are almost the same - it works
not crazy about this type of processing but it does give an extra edge to the shots |
