 I've taken this same picture a dozen times, but I always get a kick out of it. I liked the rider's shadow this morning.

I know the shot isn't "tack sharp". I threw in some diffuse glow. (I like diffuse glow!)

I like the deck, it has great texture and interest - the sign in the upper left corner kind of cracks me up too, esp the one reading compact parking - that whale is anything but .. nice over all tones

Nicely composed. Not sure how I feel about the glow effect, but it's a fun kind of shot anyway.

It's not super sharp(as you say) but is interesting with the whale, shadow and biker. I like it.

Before reading your notes, I was thinking... this has that germaine signature ;), I like it, the shadow works nicely and the editing really adds to this one.

Great timing for the capture and the shadow. Love the pants - if you made a very tight crop I could see them better!

Whale indeed! I love that shadow! It's always good to revisit locations, even if you take the same shot, it's always a little different.

Tack sharp is overrated anyway! This is a classic pic, could have spotted it as yours quite easily. (I love looking at your portfolio). Lovely morning shadow.
