having a look at this again because i really love it and noticed what looked like nostrils ..

i didn't think fish had nostrils because of their gills .. so i googled it ..

was a great learning experience ..

fish have nares which are like nostrils .. they use them for smelling .. not for breathing ..
how interesting ..
